He even lets us take our drinks on credit. But I fear his patience is wearing thin. Last night’s brawl between the Periville boys and us locals ended in a broken chair and half-dozen shattered bottles. Now Flores expects us to cough up for the damage and the spirits. Where does he expect us to scrounge up the coin?
He's a good man, I swear! But he's tired of the fighting. We better win big on the next Turkey race, or I fear my bar tab has come due.
